There are lots of Christian video recordings and DVDs available today. Most of them are recordings of teachings which can be found on the Internet or available in various formats from Christian websites and other retailers. Others come in the form of feature films with a Christian theme. Then there are recordings of events that convey a Christian message or images.
Whatever they are, they can be used for Christians to grow, to inspire, to offer as gifts to others or to reachout or evangelise. However, there are good ones, bad ones and downright dangerous ones. So, I have produced this page to point you in the right direction with some recommendations.

 Helen Shapiro is a Jew who grew up in London and became a pop star when she was a teenager with a number of hit records, "Walking Back to Happiness" being the best known one of them. Ever since then she has had a successful music career. However, as an adult she became a Christian, and the story of how this happened is amazing.On the left you can see the cover of a DVD that has been produced of an event where she gave her testimony. The DVD also contains a selection of some of the songs she has written since becoming a Christian. During and after her testimony she provides the best explanation of the Gospel that I have ever heard. She also brings great insights as a Jew. Gentiles often forget that the first Christians were Jews. I recommend this DVD for everyone, believer or not. Her testimony will encourage you even if you've been a Christian for a long time. It is also useful as a evangelist tool, especially for Jewish friends. It can be purchased from a number of sources. |
