My name is Mike Ashton and I have created this New Life Pastoral Ministry website for the benefit of Christians, although I hope that it will also be of benefit to non-Christians as they seek the truth. Ever since becoming a Christian, I have had a heart for building up other Christians and over many years I have fulfilled this in the church in various ways. And this website provides a new way of serving the Lord's people in the new digital world.

It is my fervant hope that the material I have put on this website will help you as you grow in your knowledge of Jesus Christ. And my prayer for you as you explore this website echoes that of Paul the Apostle who said to the Ephesian church, "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe." (Ephesians 1:17-19)
